LA Waterkeeper’s beach cleanup program provides local businesses, schools and community groups the opportunity to directly engage in our efforts to protect and restore LA’s waterways.

We often think about environmental work in three categories: pollution prevention, restoration of healthy habitats, and addressing the root causes of ecological harm. When community members participate in beach cleanups, they are taking an active role in pollution prevention as well as restoration of the Santa Monica Bay.
